Konia Community Council calls on its residents for further activation and awareness of the issue of cleanliness and waste management within the Community boundaries.
The contribution of all residents to maintaining cleanliness and environmental protection is equally important and therefore the public is urged not to place arbitrary pruning, greens, bulky objects, rubble and other useless objects in public, public or open spaces.
To this end, it is recalled that the Green Point (Residential Recycling Center), located on the central street of Koloni (the new roundabout), which operates free of charge for collection of specific waste materials, operates daily,accepts the followings:
1/Aggregate – Rubble (rubble, plaster, cement, timber)
2. X-rays
3.Aluminum
4.Waste for burial
5.Glass
6.Furniture
7. Thermometers
8. Grass pruning (green)
9.Metal objects (old radiators etc)
10.DIY (tiles, sanitary ware etc)
11.Batteries for vehicles
12.Wood
13.Toys
14.Plastic containers
15.Plastic
16.Mattresses
17.Cleaning equipment
18.Packaging Materials
19.Fabrics
20.Rugs
21. Medicines – medical
22.Paper
23.Paints
Receipt of the above materials that will only come from households and / or third parties, who will have prior permission / authorization of the Paphos Board, is free.
Under no circumstances material – waste from commercial activities, contractors or other professional carriers will not be accepted.
